Applications for 2019:

Applications for places in 2019 open on 10 January 2018 and close in March
Listed below are all the necessary documents required from new applicants. These can be downloaded (PDF format) and completed for submission to the Admissions Secretary. Click here for application forms.

Kindly note that it is essential that the following documentation is enclosed when handing in your application:

  1. Completed Application Form (Please read the checklist on cover page)
  2. Birth Certificate with full ID number and photograph of student.
  3. ID of both parents.
  4. Copy of most recent year end report (i.e. December 2016)

SACS SCHOLARSHIP EXAMINATIONS – Tuesday 23 January : GRADE 8 2019

Scholarship applications open in January 2017 

Applications are invited from boys wishing to write the School’s Scholarship Examinations.   Scholarships are offered for Sport, Academic or Music excellence to Grade 8 boys starting in 2018.

The Scholarship Examination – with papers in both Mathematics and English will be written  by ALL Scholarship applicants on (to be decided) from 14h00 – 16h00 at the school. Pupils must provide their own pen, pencil, eraser and ruler to write the exam.  No calculators are allowed.

Please note that writing this exam does not guarantee entry into SACS High School, nor does it commit the candidate to accept a place at the School.

Applicants for all scholarships must complete:

  • An application form for Grade 8 2018
  • A Scholarship application form (downloadable).  

Forms to reach the School not later than Monday the 16th January 2017

Music Scholarship applicants will be required to ALSO attend an audition on (to be decided) from 14h00 onwards in addition to writing the Scholarship Examination on ( to be decided)  Times for these auditions will be confirmed with the candidates.

SACS OPEN AFTERNOON – 31 January 2018   

The afternoon will commence in the Hofmeyr Hall at 15h30 with the first of two welcome and information addresses by the Headmaster.  This will be followed by guided tours around the school.  The last tour will commence at 16h30.  Refreshments will be served in the Major Quad.  Here, members of Staff will be available to answer any questions you may have. The repeated address by the Headmaster will commence at 17h30 for those unable to attend the first at 15h30.  

NO LATE APPLICATIONS FOR ACCEPTANCE WILL BE CONSIDERED.
