Christian Union

Although the Christian Union formally meets only once a week on Tuesday’s at lunch break, we see ourselves as so much more. We are part of the body of Christ, with a mission to both spread the news of His sacrifice for us on the cross and to be an example of what it is to live
Christ filled lives, while supporting each other in everything that that entails. The highlight every year is a camp with Christian unions from other schools.

Other events include Schools United evenings twice a year, at nearby schools where Christian from many schools get together for fun and praise and worship. We also have initiated some outreach activities to other schools, including our brothers in SACS primary.

Our weekly meetings are rich and varied. Boys are encouraged to bring their lunches and eagerly participate in the opportunity to share fellowship with one another. We often have guest speakers, but also have opportunities for senior members of the society to preach as well as games and quizzes. We welcome all boys of any faith or lack thereof to attend and staff members are equally welcome. We are blessed by the parent group that meets weekly
to pray for the school and welcome the member’s of the Gideon society who hand out bibles every year.
