History Society

The HSC and school archives have flourished as dynamic spaces that foster a strong sense of identity and pride across our school community. By supporting the inquiries of alumni, relatives, and former staff, the archives help sustain enduring connections with SACS and reinforce the profound value of preserving our shared history.

The History Society has continued to make significant strides in curating SACS’s rich archives. The society is comprised of members elected to the committee and this committee in turn drives the society. With the diligent efforts of our dedicated students, we have maintained high standards of accessibility, addressing numerous requests that often lead us deep into the school’s historical records. These tasks highlight the importance of preserving not only the school’s legacy but also aspects of our nation’s past.

Various projects are undertaken throughout the year and it is up to committee members to decide on the goals and aims they intend pursuing year on year. As we move forward, we remain dedicated to safeguarding these connections for future generations, ensuring that the SACS Archives remain a valuable resource in an ever-evolving world.
