SACS will be turning 200 in 2029

In 2029, SACS will celebrate its 200th anniversary, marking two centuries as a leading and impactful school in Cape Town and South Africa.

Two centuries of history have shaped our unique SACS identity, and as we stand on the cusp of our 200th birthday in 2029, we take pride in reflecting on the journey that has brought us to where we are today. Within our halls, excellence thrives, and the echoes of tradition resound through time, shaping not just individuals but futures.

The future of our school relies greatly on our ability to come together as a community to support the SACS200 campaign and the growth of the SACS Endowment Trust and SACS Ithuba Trust. A robust endowment will ensure that SACS remains competitive and serves as an ongoing example of what is possible in education in South Africa.

In the lead up to our 200th birthday in 2029 we are planning numerous exciting events, fixtures and capital projects to ensure the lasting legacy of SACS for the next 200 years.
