Our future projects

Our current fundraising focuses on the following projects. In addition, we gratefully accept donations towards any of our future projects at SACS.

Coding and Robotics at SACS

Indoor Cricket Facility

A state-of-the-art indoor cricket facility at SACS High School will be a fantastic addition, providing year-round training opportunities, enhancing skill development, and ensuring a strong foundation for the future of cricket at the school—a worthwhile investment in nurturing young talent and fostering a winning legacy.

Coding and Robotics at SACS

Junior School Coding and Robotics Hub

Essential for the 21st century, this hub will offer weekly coding and robotics lessons, including maker spaces for building robots and an online component for coding.

SACS200 High School music

High School College of Music

A new state-of-the-art music facility will enhance our cultural offerings, including an acoustically optimised auditorium, a multi-purpose room, new classrooms, and restrooms. This facility will support our renowned music program, benefitting the 40% of students involved in music and 20 staff members, and it will serve as a cultural hub for Cape Town.

SACS High Boarding House

Boarding House

Due to increasing demand, we aim to expand our boarding facilities from 160 to 200 boys by 2029. This includes new dormitories, upgraded ablution blocks, a prep room, common rooms, and a larger dining area, along with additional staff accommodation to attract and retain excellent teachers.

SACS High Astro

Astro

To support our top-ranked hockey program, we plan to convert existing tennis courts and a mini astro into a half-size astro, allowing more league matches for U9-U13B and freeing up the full-size astro for high school practices and matches. This facility will be fully lit for early morning and evening use and can accommodate tennis courts in summer, benefitting both the hockey and physical education programs.
