SACS200 Launch

On Thursday, 29 February 2024, we held a fabulous function in the SACS Hofmeyr Hall to officially launch our SACS200 Fundraising Campaign.

Mr Brendan Grant, Mr Gary Skeeles and the Trustees of the SACS Endowment Trust and SACS Ithuba Trust welcomed current and past parents, old boys, staff, past Heads and special guests.

It was an honour to have Cape Town Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis on our campus addressing our guests, as well as Distinguished Constitutional Court judge, human rights activist, author and Old Boy, Albie Sachs.

The High School Concert Band and Junior School Choir entertained guests with their stellar performances on the evening. Furthermore, we were delighted to showcase our SACS200 video at the launch event.

The SACS Endowment Trust has set a goal to raise R100 million in honour of our 200-year birthday celebration in 2029 and in order to support the continued future development of SACS. We appeal to the whole SACS community to consider donating to this worthy cause.

The video, as well as a short highlights video from the event, captures the spirit and energy of the SACS Endowment and Ithuba Trusts and highlights the exciting journey we have embarked on as we journey towards our 200th year.

A special thank you to our event sponsors whose support was invaluable to the success of the evening.

Finally, thank you to everyone who celebrated the SACS200 Fundraising Campaign launch with us…your support will impact SACS growth. Together lets build the best school for South Africa as we journey towards our 200th birthday.
